The Wyoming Economic Atlas is an effort by the University of Wyoming Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics to disseminate information to the people of Wyoming about current economic trends in agriculture and community economic development in their state. The site is not a data source, but a data interpretation site attempting to educate and inform the public with insightful commentary and graphics on selected topics of interest.
The atlas is organized around the "Hub Page". As with a wheel, the Hub page is your central point of reference within the site. From it, you can navigate to any of the features or themes by clicking on one of the colored buttons on the wheel. The color of the button indicates the color of the banner bar within that feature. Pressing the Hub page button in the lower left hand corner of the page will take you back to the central reference point. Arrows, if present, will allow you to page through a feature.
Features are short reports of current interest 1 to 3 pages in length and are usually on a statewide basis. Themes, such as "Counties in Profile" and "Agricultural Income by County" are broken down by county and are more exhaustive in nature.
